Getting Comfortable in the Water

Level 1 is all about helping your child feel safe, confident, and happy in the water. Through fun, age-appropriate activities, they’ll learn essential skills like bobbing, floating, blowing bubbles, and moving their arms and legs. We also introduce water safety tips, basic rescue awareness, and how to enter and exit the pool properly—setting a strong foundation for their swim journey ahead.

Foundations of Water Safety

Beyond basic movement, Level 1 teaches foundational water safety skills that every child should know. From bobbing and gliding to recognizing emergencies and learning how to call for help, students gain awareness of how to stay safe in and around water. This level also includes playful lessons, to help kids build essential knowledge while developing physical skills through structured activities and lots of positive reinforcement.
